This book is written as a graduate textbook for the students in Computer Science. It is a book on Mathematics: Basic Mathematics for Computer Science.

The main topics presented in the fifteen chapters of the book are: Sets and functions, Ordered sets, Logics, Theory of graphs, Rational languages and finite automata, and Theory of probabilities. The book contains a wealth of exercises at the end of each section.

Well-organized and carefully written, the present book is a very useful textbook and I recommend it to all interested in Computer Science.
